Your Profile
Your contact details and personal tone of voice — how Salfio recognizes you inside your own conversations, and how it should sound when it drafts on your behalf.
Open Settings → Profile to manage how Salfio sees you as a person: your name and picture, the contact details that identify you inside conversation data, and your personal tone of voice.
Contact details
Section titled “Contact details”Salfio aggregates conversations from many channels, and some of those messages are yours. Contact details tell Salfio which ones:
- Email — the address you sign in with. Messages you sent from it are recognized as yours. This field is managed by your account and cannot be edited here.
- Phone number — matches your WhatsApp messages. Enter it in any familiar format ("+31 6 12 34 56 78", "0031612345678"); it is saved in the international format. Start with your country code — a national format like "06…" cannot be matched and is rejected with a hint.
Tone of voice
Section titled “Tone of voice”Your tone of voice is a short description of how you write: sentence length, formality, greetings and sign-offs, which languages you use. It is personal — every member of the organization has their own, and nobody else's drafts are affected by yours. Today it shapes the suggested recap email in your post-meeting recaps: when you have a tone of voice set, that draft is written in your voice instead of the neutral house style.
You can fill it in two ways:
- Write it yourself. Describe your style in the text area and press Save changes.
- Extract it from your conversations. Press Extract from my conversations and Salfio reads a sample of your own recent messages — emails you sent, WhatsApp messages from your connected number, and what you said in meetings — within the current organization only, and writes the description for you. The result appears in the text area with a note showing how many messages it was based on.
A few rules to know:
- Your edits always win. Editing the text after an extraction marks the tone of voice as manually edited; extraction never overwrites your text unless you press the button again.
- A minimum sample is required. If you don't have enough recent conversations in this organization yet, Salfio says so and leaves your stored tone of voice untouched.
- Only your own messages are read. Extraction never reads other people's messages, and never reads outside the organization you are working in.
